It has all the benefits and features of the Energy Standard glass, but a built-in transparent layer makes Comfort glass much tougher to break through than standard, unlaminated glass.

Comfort Plus Glass

Comfort Plus glass provides the perfect balance of light, warmth and comfort. An invisible coating blocks out 50% of external heat from the sun while keeping in 63% more internal heat*.

It’s ideal in sunny south- and west-facing rooms or for large glazed areas such as bi-fold or patio doors, making your home cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

GLAZING FEATURES

Diamond Lead

Leaded windows, can be found on many different types of homes and buildings and were popular in the 1930’s. The basic styles are square or rectangle leads, diamond leads, or a mixture of both creating the Queen Anne design.

Georgian Bar

The Georgian Bar options from Bt Windows are inbetween the outer and inner glass that forms the glazing unit. The advantages of the glazing bars being mounted inbetween the glass makes cleaning easier and the actual bars don’t get dirty.

TRIPLE GLAZING

Triple glazed windows offer a threefold of benefits to your home, by conserving energy, increasing security levels and also improving acoustic performance to create a quieter and safer atmosphere which is ideal for premises in high-traffic areas. This variety enables trade suppliers to offer customers who are in noisy areas (such as on airport flightpaths) a greater level of quality soundproofing and insulation, creating a more tranquil environment.

BLINDS IN GLASS

All our integral blind systems are available in Venetian or pleated blind format. Venetian blinds, with their horizontal slats allow adjustment of light entering your room even when the blinds are fully lowered. They offer privacy while still allowing the light to flow in if you wish – simply adjust the direction of the slats.

Integrated Venetian blinds that are permanently sealed inside the cavity of a double-glazed unit have the added benefit of being out of harm’s way, in between the panes of glass, so they cannot be damaged and do not need to be cleaned. There’s the added benefit of a clutter-free window cill too.
